A nice collection of bullion coins
I have a small collection of gold bullion at home. My father started collecting them several years ago, when my sister and I were still children. I don"t know where he got the coins, he simply brought a coin or two home sometimes. We kept them in a piggy-bank which had a small opening at the bottom. We sometimes opened it just to look at our collection of bullion coins. They were mainly Polish coins from 1970s and 1980s. Some of them were big and heavy while other were tiny. I remember that we played with them sometimes but dad eventually forbade us to do that as we were constantly losing coins. Some of them disappeared under the furniture and we were never able to find them again. Anyway, when I moved into my new flat my father gave me the collection as a present. I don"t know what to do with it now and how much it might be worth. I"m not going to sell it in the nearest future but perhaps I will decide to do so when I need some money. Of course, I don"t believe I will earn a fortune. These bullion coins can"t be worth that much. But perhaps one day I will ask a specialist who will give me some advice on where to sell them and how much to ask for. Right now, the piggy-bank is standing on my windowsill, and I sometimes open it to look at the coins.
